A PILOT'S HOME RECIPE TAKES OFF
Soaring Fields Salsa began with a pilot who loved good salsa. Starting with ingredients from his own garden, every week he refined his recipe and brought it into the airport hangar to share with friends. Friday became the day when pilots and mechanics would gather around and try out the newest salsa recipe—with a hearty helping of Mexican food from Loma Linda's restaurant.
This tradition has continued for 20 years, with the salsa recipe getting better every week. Soon, friends, family and neighbors started asking where they could buy it. Soaring Fields Salsa was cleared for takeoff.
Today, our pilot is still flying. But after hours, you'll find him tinkering with sweet peppers, ripe tomatoes and blends of spices. Pop open a jar for yourself and discover the difference made by fresh, locally grown tomatoes—and the flavor that has been a local secret for decades.
